Re: How-to Mount OEM GT Front Splitter to Motion Motorsports Panel

Wow, this is awesome!!
My MM underpanel didn't line up properly within the OE lip so I really had to force it on and now my bumper is tweaked and the alignment is slightly off. I should've shaved...

Re: Would you buy a Euro E36 M3 as an enthusiast?

Haha....well I'm sure the Euro is nice, but I don't feel like I'm missing too much with my modded S52. There are other cars I'd rather have for the money you're hinting at.

Re: Would you buy a Euro E36 M3 as an enthusiast?

I'd be willing to pay about $5k more for the Euro. I used to dream about importing one, but now I think I'd rather have an imported Skyline instead and keep my modded US E36.

Re: Rare & Unique Parts - Let's share pics etc...

It makes the chassis too rigid and squeak free for the e36 crowd.
I love how the non-folding rear seats can be popped out and removed in seconds.

Re: Rare & Unique Parts - Let's share pics etc...

Hell, my s52 is FBO (minus headers), schrick cams, tuned, and still dyno'd only 239whp....getting there wasn't cheap. Makes me wish I had gone with a s54 when my engine was replaced a few years ago....

Re: Chads e36 M3 track build

I had a wheel speed sensor fail a few years ago and it disabled ABS. The brake bias and brake feel without ABS is less than ideal. It was surprisingly easy to unintentionally lock up the wheels on...

Re: Interior restoration: What color change would you do?

As someone who has dove interior and is slowly converting it to black, I would stick with black. Black interior just looks so much better than any other color imo. Although red seats on white can...

Re: Adding some "girth" to rear end...

The E46 rear reminds me a bit of a saggy diaper, but to each their own.
Some suggestions:
Spacers and rear fender roll
Wider wheels/tires
Tail lights - The amber tri-color tail lights break up...

Awesome thread! I've been using PFC 08 pads for the past year. They work well on the street, but if you care about your wheels I'd suggest waxing and cleaning them regularly. I didn't, and this is...

Re: Are there any steering shaft extensions (cabin side) to get the wheel towards dri

Compared to the Z2 the sidewalls felt squishy in the corners. Grip was good though and I didn't notice any drop off throughout the sessions. I don't have...

I'll try a fat version on my OEM (replica) Flat spoiler. I guess that would be the 104cm top size? How do I order from you?

Re: Anyone have info on the new Dunlop Direzza Z3, Hankook RS4 or Falken RT-615k+

Agreed, Star Specs are great in the wet. I'm saying so far in my experience the RS4 seems equally as good in wet conditions.

I'm comparing both at 35psi cold on the street. The ride with the RS4...

Re: Anyone have info on the new Dunlop Direzza Z3, Hankook RS4 or Falken RT-615k+

I never had an issue with the Z2 either, but they definitely made for a much rougher ride than the RS4 on the street. I find myself bracing for bumps that the RS4's soak up nicely. I'm not here to...

Re: Anyone have info on the new Dunlop Direzza Z3, Hankook RS4 or Falken RT-615k+

Thanks for the write-up! I'll add that they are MUCH more comfortable on the street than my previous Dunlop Z2 Star Specs. I'm looking forward to running them on the track in a couple weeks.
