Bring one of those nut/bolt pickle grabber thingies and a telescoping magnetic picker-upper. Priceless when you drop small bits while working on the car.

What do you do with the shells of the donor cars? I had one once and disposed of it piece by piece with a sawzall making the pieces. I didn’t have a trailer or a vehicle to tow it with at the time.

+1 for the tech angle torque wrench. You can get them on eBay all day long for not too much money. Roughly $60 calibrates it at Snap On (including return shipping!).

FWIW, carfax was fantastic in dealing with the issue. Both of the items are off my file now and all it took was contact through their online dispute form, a copy of the "invoices" that I made BMW...
