Re: AC question : hot air from defrost vents while AC running?

AC is independent from the heater i.e. aircon is used all year ‘round.

If the heater is on, regardless of AC being on, it will give you warm air.

Re: Euro radiator cover

The Euro M3 up to 12/96 had alternator cooling through a 3-piece duct running from the left brake duct up to the alternator.

Ok I see. You’re right and I’m wrong. And I know nothing about detailing.

I keep forgetting you’re the PhD in every single subject and I’m at none.

Guess my car cleans itself then.

Not at all? Expected some reasons after that statement.

Since when does water and wiring mix and match? I wouldnít even do it with a weak stream of water, let alone a pressure washer from <1m...

There you are. Nice.

Daring hosing down that engine bay with a pressure washer.

Re: Can you guys tell me what these holes are? (engine bay)

The Individual label (also) only lists the outer paint color/code and base/primer color.

If there was a special upholstery/interior mods it would add "Technik - Ausstattung" (Technic - Equipment)

Or bumper carrier. The perfect place to hide these ballast out of sight.

Whatever the holes are, is anybodies guess.

Side note: on EU cars beginning 1/98 the paint label sticker was omitted...

No, has nothing to do with it. Itís the basecoat/primer color.

For Techno, that is black.

Re: S52 Intake

Tell the OP.

Maybe you do on paper, but I've been driving with the M50 intake (+ BBTB's) since 2012 and never noticed any loss.

Then again, I've never really noticed the gain up top neither....

Re: S52 Intake

You don't want to loose low down torque, yet you want an alternative intake, which is always one that make the engine breath better on top.

Otherwise might as well keep the stock one.

It doesn’t really matter. Was just curious how many are still in old cars.

Now that you say it, the small indent is visible, where you would see it. So that would be no indeed.

Does it still have the protective rubber 'seal' under the hold-down clamp?

They don't even look remotely like CSL wheels. Apart from them being Y-spoke, like every other wheel, they have nothing in common.

That's the OEM piece for the wide Euro plates. That's why it has these mounting points exposed exactly where the holes in that piece are located.

Sedan nice.

Please run either no front plate, or if your state mandates one, a properly centered one.

This looks way odd.

Yes.

It will all fall into place once you have the parts. It can only fit one way.

Re: Euro Oil Cooler Install?

^^

You can fit bracket #6. Then you can fit #8. There's only one on top.

#6 fits on the alternator mouting.
