Re: SMG adaption for 3.91 gears?

Eric, did you have rev matching enabled in the dme along with the 3.91 r&p? Did it all work as well as with the stock gears?

I presume it should since rev matching has nothing to do with the diff...

Re: Will a non m electric fan physically fit?

Besides drilling holes to secure the fan, did you have to modify or cut the oil cooler shroud or is there enough space to fit the fan above of that shroud?

Re: Breakthrough discovery about the Spal 30102082 Fan! The Most powerful sealed fan

Thanks, I don't see why it shouldn't fit in the shroud, it's still a 16in fan after all (15.71"), but I get what you're saying about the offset.

Re: Breakthrough discovery about the Spal 30102082 Fan! The Most powerful sealed fan

I may have missed this, but did you have to offset the fan to clear water pump or other pulleys?
I'm trying to see if this can fit mounted on the stock shroud.

Euro and ZCP are already floating rotors, and they are decent rotors. Asking for a caliper upgrade is not for bling. Some people care more about reducing sprung weight.

The Vanos pressure on the S54 should be 115 bar, raised from 100 bar on the S50 (per the VANOS documentation).

Re: Brake Force Display for E46

SW1 is first threshold and SW2 is the more aggressive deceleration. You have activated STUFE3 for SW1 instead of SW2. I would swap those.
