Re: lost power assist on track - now to improve cooling

Curious as well. While my power steering didn't up and take a dump on me last week at the track, it was giving me a hard time the more I put it under load. I've bled the damn system multiple times...

Had a blast out at VIR the last two days. Ran the Full Course on Thursday and the Grand Course on Friday. The weather was perfect for tracking. Slight overcast, cool, and dry. It literally...

I think you'll be back. You'll be hard-pressed to find another technical, tight-knit community like the one we have here. I've been on Porsche and newer BMW forums and they don't stack up. :D

I wouldn't have qualified for the Friday option. Still a novice and learning. That's not a bad price for 3 days though.

Foam can be drilled through. However it's been advised not to do foam before any weld work (if required).

Re: BMW upset with E46 M3 enthusiasts

I drove an E36 M3. And to make matters worse...an automatic E36 M3. Didn't feel much different than my non-M at the time. But yeah, the S50/S52 motors are nowhere near as exhilarating as the S54.

I was too young at the time to really know any better about the E46 M3 GTR let alone ALMS, but I wish I had. I did get to see the E92 M3 GT2s on track a few years back. What a noise.

E36 M3 getting a lot of bashing in this thread. It seems it was the bastard child of all the M3 generations.
