Re: Bad paint/rust - touch up/respray panels or entire car?

Yeah I was figuring around a grand

It’s pretty easy to tell where there’s rust, no? There would be some sort of texture if the metal was rusting underneath the areas of good paint..?

Re: Bad paint/rust - touch up/respray panels or entire car?

Probably a good call. Maybe I should just sand it all out myself, prime/rust protect it and get it wrapped. I really don't like the matte wraps though, I wonder how the gloss ones look.

I guess I...

Bad paint/rust - touch up/respray panels or entire car?

LOL I posted here but quickly deleted it because I'm an indecisive sod and thought it wasn't really worth the bother. Anyway, for those that are curious I haven't done anything yet, but the rust...

Re: Questions About Aftermarket Steering Wheel Install - Airbag Resistor

Absolutely, the low weight and lack of dampening of the racing wheel really enhances the drive imo. I still don’t think the e46 has a ton of steering ‘feel’ to begin with but it’s very intuitive and...

Everything works on mine (except the horn but that's probably because I've been running an aftermarket wheel and messing with the steering wheel connectors). 182k miles and I think I've still got...

My 2nd e46 M3 stint is over

:agree: :agree:

Although the engine is great and sounds fantastic it is noticeably less of a screamer vs even the S54. It’s more of a torquey, power everywhere thing imo. The difference is subtle...
