Thanks for the heads up (to the the posters, I appreciate the experience the community brings).

What about running 16" wheels since the brakes are only 12.5"? I have 17x8 winter setup for my 330i...

This car will be driven at most 20% street and the rest at watkins glen and mosport. Won't be running slicks, just some 200 TW streets, I imagine fresh fluid and track pads will be adequate .

Because I don't know enough about them.

At the end of the day Ive ridden with some fast e36 drivers with stock brakes, the right pads and fluid.

I finally pulled the trigger on a 97 '3 will post pics soon. I have searched around and found little information on whether or not they would for. Being 13" it would be a nice free upgrade.
