Yeah needs to be fully retarded. The Cams are already fully retarded when you insert the VANOS and tighten it down (spline shaft pistons are fully inserted). They should stay that way when you rotate...

Yeah if the little plastics grates are in place the shim is still in the head. Try poking around the exhaust side with a magnet.

The color was "Platinum", not sure of the exact paint brand. Its a black base powder coat, metallic top coat and a clear. Gives the wheels a lot of depth like BMW shadow chrome.

Yeah Mario rocks, top notch shop.

My reasoning on the Pilot 4s is I want the TE37s to be primarily street wheels, and also wet track wheels if needed.

CSLs will continue to be primary track...

Yeah that's correct, 4 spacers under the shield and 4 above it under the nut and washer to isolate the shield. Only place I've seen these on the car. They dampen vibrations, kind of cool.

Yeah and I would also need to modify the muffler. I almost went the bimmer world 3.5" route but just can't handle it getting any louder! At this point I'm pretty happy with my motor/tune/exhaust...

I run 265/30 all around. No rubbing, looks good, performs well.

Down side ride is harsher and you can easily damage a rim on sharp potholes.

My next set will still be 265/30.

The ARH headers don't have an EGR port and you'll get a check engine light if its not coded out (or you can have a local exhaust place weld one in). You can keep the rear O2s, I just didn't need them...
