Took me a couple of years to find, but finally sourced what has become pretty unobtainable. Picked it up last Saturday.

The actual CD/Cassette tape...

Re: OEM Grade Bi-LED Projector Retrofit into Bosch Euro Headlights

Maybe it’s me, but for me there is a point where too much light is too much. I like driving in the dark to enjoy my interior lights festival. Of course I need to see the road.

But say in theory...

Re: BAT prices are crazy!

The whole E36 market here is overheated.

Or is it? With full electric cars becoming the norm pretty quickly,...

Did they in the US? Neither of my two cabrio's have such a high amp alternator. I know you could spec one on older model years.

From what I could find about it, you got one when you ordered the...

I stumbled on some Hakiri led conversion on the 8 series section of the other board. Look nice as well, but too big to have them...

Where did you mount them? I often see these fitted to the strut towers, while there is a nice spot on top of the bumper carrier to mount them out of sight.

Re: OEM Grade Bi-LED Projector Retrofit into Bosch Euro Headlights

Well, legally, over here, high beams can only be used with no oncoming traffic. And one already gives a ton of light.

We call high beam the one with most output (blue light on dash). And the...

p.s. since it’s bi-led, does this mean the original hi-beam is no longer used or you now have 2 hi-beams.

Interesting, the heatsinks, as one big pro of leds is they hardly produce any heat. But I’m not familiar with leds In automotive headlights context.

AFAIK, only the US dropped the option. It was available from start to end of production in ROW.

Re: Are there any steering shaft extensions (cabin side) to get the wheel towards dri

Of course. But at the angle the shaft is, the increase in height is less than the amount of extension. So unless you have a huge extension, I doubt youíll notice.

Thatís why I asked, as I...

^^
Aren’t most US M3’s donned with that old abominable 4-spoke wheel?

And this one only on the late production models?

Re: Oil Level Sensor?

Tilt steering column was a safety / not DOT compliant issue. Not costs.

And they added it to the EU 3.2, so there is no "cutting anything" in this context.

Re: Oil Level Sensor?

Only the EU M3 3.2 models have the oil level sensor. (plus level warning light)

Hence the "check oil level regularly" sticker on the gauge cluster (and omission thereof on the EU 3.2's)

Re: E36 M3: Part Deux - The Car Diaries

I'd always go for the 96+ (98.5 for US?) wheel. I've had the 3-spoke wheel you pictured as the factory wheel in my 328i and upgraded to the M airbag wheel and it was just better in every way.
