Re: Anyone ever done a MAF'ed carbon airbox?

Finally got it installed today. Fresh from Ledarmanz, here's my custom steering wheel with the ZCP trim wrapped. I had to mail him the trim to get it wrapped as well.

The steering wheel doesn't...

Nothing against Ron. Bimmeeworld also answers quickly and has great customer service. If I recall, a group buy for these start up once every couple of years which makes these products kind of rare...

Bimmerworld should look into acquiring this too. It's such a great product - easily my most favorite mod on the car.

Totally random question. Would you guys ever considered creating some sort of MAF housing (or another contraption) to pair it with the Eventuri intake?

I think there is a small group of us who are...

Is it really thicker than stock? I have one from Ledarmanz and it's similar to yours but it's not that much thicker than stock.

Re: Eventuri intake review incl pre/post dyno

Hmm. That is relatively low cost which makes it low risk for potentially a couple more horses.

Re: What's your tolerance for small defects before you request for an exchange?

I'm a lurker of the autodetailing subreddit and here's my quick findings on ceramic coatings for wheels:

-Don't get caught-up on hardness ratings (6H vs 9H... etc)
-Stick with reputable brands...

Re: What's your tolerance for small defects before you request for an exchange?

Noted. I'll be ceramic coating the wheels for easy clean up, but it sounds like it may also help protect the coating a bit as well. And thank you for the reminder to buy a soft-coated socket!!

Yes. I have the SS Sport and it drones. Anyone who says it doesn’t is lying. The only exhaust that doesn’t drone is stock, SS Street and maybe the Dinan exhaust.

How difficult is it to buy a block of foam and just cut the piece to the dimensions you want?

My front bumper is also sagging a bit and I may look to do this as well.
