Seems like a good mill. Time will tell, but I'm excited BMW still develops these great powerplants that run on dinosaur remnants.
I assume this is the motor that will power upcoming M3 and M4.

Re: price - Karbonius sells their intake for 1,566 Euro on their site, that's without shipping from EU. Translated at the current rate, this is ~$1,800 plus probably another $200 easily for shipping,...

Copper is interesting without the lead. But with 145K on the engine, possibly something in the valve-train, rather than bearing-related.

I bet its your failed coil pack. It doesn't take much to dump enough fuel into oil with one cylinder not running right, especially if you took the oil sample shortly after. I honestly wouldn't worry...
