I'm running 80A poly diff bushings. whine is barely noticeable and pretty much only in high gear decel. But my diff is freshly rebuilt and brand new gears plus the rest of my car isn't exactly quiet....

Preferably I'd like to have a separate setup for each eventually. But other projects keep side tracking me. When I get to it the 10" et25 squared will be track and likely a staggered setup for street.

I have. I also have in gear rattle in certain rpms in certain gears its not just idle. Keep in mind I'm in florida where its hot almost year round so my transmission fluids probably see hotter temps...

For stock flywheel applications I would go with Ravenol MTF-2 as its apparently the closest thing to OE fluid you can get. I'm currently running Motul Gear 300 (75w90) to help with my 11lb aluminum...

Trans fluid does indeed affect flywheel chatter. You are mistaken that the chatter comes from the flywheel itself. It's caused by the flywheel but the chatter is from the gears in your tranny...

Pauls first effort tune on my car is already 10x better than my epic tune was. But communication has got me worried when I'm ready to throw the larger injectors in I may get left stranded for a bit.

Nice tool! Most of us aren't stock, some far from stock so would be nice to be able to estimate our current duty cycle on pump gas based on what kind of power we're making if that's possible.

I agree with Lang that rod bearing width is the main cause for bearing failure. Whether you consider replacement every 100k miles on an 8000+ rpm motor normal or premature failure is up to you....

I was one of the proponents of changing the followers in those discussions. But that was with 288 and/or higher lift cams. On top of that I haven't seen any documentation of stock follower failure...

Skip the followers and the supertech valvetrain both are really of no use to you with just 280/272 standard lift. That saves you like ~2000-2500 right off that bat. If not doing followers then that...

SDW and CMP are both apparently working on monoball FCAB designs that will hopefully imporve on some o the shortcomings of the Turners. I'll be holding out to see how those go.

Joined the wait list even though its 16 hours from me for the hell of it. I hear there's some sweet mountain bike parks in Jersey so maybe I'll make a trip out of it we'll see as it gets closer.

Anyone else’s mounts fit like hot trash? Spent hours trying to get just the drivers seat in and the mounts are about a half inch too wide. On top of that the instructions suck too.

That's the point of periodically so that it never fully cools thereby eliminating/minimizing the warm up period. Not get it up to temp -> let if fully cool -> start it up again. But I may be...

Can you periodically start and run the car between now and then to keep some heat in it? Also agreed with switching to 0w-40 for the winter.
