Re: Besides Obioban, has anyone here honestly turned down the e9x m3 for ours?

Test drove one, thought it was a little bit Meh...for the $$$! It lacks soul. When I got back in my E46, it made me appreciate it all the more. For $70-80k new, the E9x definately not worth it to me....

Re: E92 M3 test drive...I'll keep my E46 M3

There's a whole lot of E9x love here...I am just not feeling it. The E92 was faster, but I did not feel as connected or as much in control. Steering feel is very light and very un-BMW. Much prefer...

E92 M3 test drive...I'll keep my E46 M3

Not overly impressed. I mean it is a very nice car, great exhaust note. However, I prefer the wrap around cockpit feel of the E46 and the power felt similar. I am sure the E92 would shine at extended...

MY indy shop charges me about $65.00, ATE super blue fluid and labor. $165 sounds really high.

Re: could this be the best engine ever?

Agreed! There is something about this car that is even difficult to put into words. I don't burn a drop of oil either.

That way you can go with square rubber, not have to use spacers. Disadvantage is you lose rotation options.

Had similar experience from sellers on this forum. Could not anywhere with many of them. Ended up finding one out of Autotrader. Flew 1500 miles to Atlanta, bought and drove home.
