Window up/down microswitch question

1995 M3 - driver window does not do the auto up/down, pushing in the microswitch on the striker does nothing nor will it turn off the dome light. The passenger side works as intended.

So does one...

Thats what I wanted to do with my stamped set, talked to a place I trusted to strip/refinish but since the wheels were "brand new" they didnt want to do it - ha. I kind of gave up and just moved on...

Like I would actually use a nylon/plastic line to carry oil ha. My oil pressure is using a 4AN stainless line and oil temp is electrical. Water is a sealed unit which uses a probe in a coolant line...

Yup - when I bought my 97 M3 sedan it had BBS RG-Rs and while I like the wheel design I didnt think it looked right at all on the E36, promptly sold and installed new from the dealer stamped Style...

I sold a set (17x8, 17x9) with good/recent Michelin tires for $1750 shipped a few years back so prob $1k for just wheels if they are in great shape would be possible.

E46 M3 sucking jet pump / all lines

As pictured, need the hose from the air injection rail to the booster, the pump and line to the intake, bonus $ for harness / plug clipped off as its going in an E36 M3.

Ive ran them on track cars or daily drivers with no issues - always offset them and mount them on spal brackets mounted to the edges of the radiator vs using those dumb zip tie things.

Liqui-Moly 10w60 Synthoil / Racetech? is what I was using, I made no changes other than the bearings when I noticed the change so I dumped that oil out and refilled what I run my 951 / 944 Spec...

Nice, good to know - mine were from the second batch. I also agree with the above, I never touched the coolant line, was able to get the old headers w/o removing anything apart from the heat shield.

More expensive w/ known synchro issues. That said I had one in my M3/4/6 and it was great, for a car that sees a lot of highway use / high speed cruising its awesome.

Im pretty sure I bought a 95? 3.0 UK cluster with no coding key (specifically for the oil temp / 7k redline vs 3.2) and a guy on BFC was able to recode the mileage to match my chassis mileage.

Not rare in the sense anyone can make an exhaust but cant really find anyone in the US that has ever mentioned or had one for sale. I found a few blurbs...

Wrong. Very special (rare is special, duh) - maybe not to you but the numbers tell the story and the market obviously doesn't agree with you. Driving a rare car with <30k miles 5k miles in the next...

E46 M3 will cost more to maintain, S54 adds complexity and cost. E36's are so basic and cheap I wonder what the major refresh is you are mentioning....?

Completely agree...its a great design/body style to be able to pull that off (IMHO) as some cars just look terrible w/o if its an option.

I tried clutchless shifting on a rental car in Iceland, pretty easy once you get the hang/feel of it. Nothing Id want to do just for fun on any of my personal cars however :)
