Ok cool.

Well fade not really, but because they can expand, warp is what is prevented.

Re: Anyone running Euro oil filter canister with an oil cooler?

With the alternator air intake at the kidneys, it’ll suck all dirt in anyways.

Re: Anyone running Euro oil filter canister with an oil cooler?

You don’t need a new alternator.

Just remove the cooling duct.

I haven’t had all different alternators in my hand, so can’t tell if all duct fit all alternators. But they can’t be that...

Euro. What I meant was you can ditch the cooling altogether or use the Euro 3.0 setup.

I havenít seen anything why this would not fit the 3.2.

Re: Anyone running Euro oil filter canister with an oil cooler?

I do.
And I have no alternator cooling. BMW did away with it on the 3.2’s.

On the 3.0 the alternator cooling is fed through the left brakeduct channel.

Re: 1999 Dakar M3 Coupe Build/Restoration Journal (Long and Picture Heavy)

10w60 isn't even good for the S50B32, why would you use that in an S52?

Or is it going to be a trackrat living at 6000+ rpm's 99% of the time?

Seriously wondering here.

Re: Bilstein PSS9 coilover tire clearance issues?

I’m not going to repeat myself indefinitely.

I ordered the M3 set and that is what I got and what I fitted.

I even said I checked the setnumber with Bilstein. Lol what do you want.

Re: Bilstein PSS9 coilover tire clearance issues?

I know. That’s why at first thought it was the wrong set.

But I checked with Bilstein and it’s the M3 set. They come with the short droplinks to convert to control arm setup.

Re: Bilstein PSS9 coilover tire clearance issues?

These are the M3 version.

When I bought the set, before I had my M3, I ordered the M3 version.

Re: 1999 Dakar M3 Coupe Build/Restoration Journal (Long and Picture Heavy)

If the glovebox vents hooks aren’t properly seated, you’ll see this right away by just opening the glovebox and look from below. There will be an obvious gap between the housing and vent trim.

If...

I neither did mean clean in a “it’s washed” as it’s inviously not, but clean as in non molested.

Once cleaned, washed, it will be properly clean.

Re: Interesting Article I came across

All these articles seem to have errors in them.

Even the comprehensive E36 M3 article in a UK based, well known magazine, had quite some facts wrong.

Re: What is the deal with wheel airbag covers?

BMW’s new style Gummiplefe (rubber cleaner) does a rather nice job keeping rubber smooth. Well that’s what’s it for. Works well on the airbag too, although it is a little shiney.

Re: Original 1995 AC Schnitzer CSL for sale.

The real cool one is the CLS II.

For a tuner car this isn’t too bad. AC Schnitzer had turned into a garish tuner nowadays.

Re: Do you have a Clutch Return Spring in addition to the Compression Spring?

I don’t have the return spring.

Thought from the ETM that only applies to old setup. Definitely not needed.

That's it right there.

The glovebox and vent trim needs to come out as a whole, before the vent trim can be taken off without breaking the tabs.

If (and many do/did) try to first take the vent...
