It's just cause the flange on the differential is tapered and there is no source for a tapper cap. Crushing it will not cause any issues :)

Yes mine didn't sit flush either. Like I said in my original post that I had to crush it by slowly tighten it in a star pattern...

If you look at the CV it's push so far backwards the bearings and cage is exposed. I have contacted with J-Fiber and verify it's the same one I am running...

Cap is same on the 330i. It has to be crush as well. One-Piece shaft make it much more difficult to install but its not impossible :D Just need the right people and guidance to get it done.

This is an Aftermarket CF Shaft Jae :hattip: OEM spec doesn't have a cap but a gasket. J-Fiber went with a cap due to the packing and ease of keep it clean. I have ran 330i cap on m3 with no issues.

Your CV looks like its been pulled back why it's poking out more than usual (It will poke out some but in the cover so you be ok). As long as the cover sit flush on the CV flange you will be fine....

Snap part and its matte don't have the gloss yet. My Aftermarket CF Hood with the factory one fits great, but the aftermarket doesnt line up...

To answer dothraki question about the type of testing that is done to the Driveshaft is a torque, balance, and dynamic high speed. There is also a fatigue test that is done at 2000Nm for 100000 times.

My 2 cents. Pros and Cons for short legged man with a twin disc clutch.

Pro:
Even with brake pedal
Sturdy
Heavier so easier to press pedal

Con:
Engagement is close to the floor
