Re: Rob's '02 Tiag Street/Track Build

They may have been a PITA, but new armrests look great! Love all the stuff you have in store for the car (roof especially), looking forward to seeing you out on the track this season.

Re: Question on BBS Fitment with 380 BBK

We have the same brakes, so I've paid attention to this and recall reading several threads on this forum indicating that they would fit under those spec LMs, FWIW.

Re: RAC Wheels

Oops, this is what I was picturing, not RG41s (not really a RG41 fan actually, lip design doesn't seem to work well with these wheels)

Re: RAC Wheels

I could see this happening down the line, though the really hard part would be deciding which design to go with... RG4, RG63 and RS110 are all fantastic wheels

Re: Forgeline GA1R Wheel Fitment/Tire Question

You should be fine, though I think 285 on the rear will be close to rubbing. Will really depend on the tire brand as there can be quite a bit of variability in size.

Edit: hopefully someone can...

Definitely silver. Any black or dark lip blends with the tire and makes your wheels look only as big as the centers, which is awful :twocents:

I like the alcantara centers but it would make me want to do the back seats' centers in the same material, otherwise it just looks out of place.

Thanks Sam. Just took it out for likely the last time this year before I cleaned it and put it away for storage. Car has been having an intermittent starting issue and think I will have to replace...

:rofl3: definitely the Porsche approach

And in case there was any doubt, the CSL hood suction intake is exactly the same as our OEM part but cut. At least the cut is better than I could do, and...

Re: [CLOSED] Group buy: Karbonius CSL Airbox - Up to 14% off

Thanks - I ended using electrical tape to cap it, and stuffed it down in this place. Barely fits but doesn't seem like it will be going anywhere.

Re: What is this sensor on top of the valve cover?

Can you clarify how you plugged/capped it? I left it on my '06 when I did my CSL airbox install, so it sounds like I need to do the same as you (unless I get another rail)

It's a good reminder that if I ever get a new car, it will damn sure be a lease. Want to be able to just turn the keys in when everything starts to go wrong.

Usually not a fan of black wheels but the blue calipers really pop behind them, nicely done. Should take some pics further back so we can see entire car with the brakes mounted.

Re: EYEHAVEYOU - '06 Interlagos Blue / Imola Red ZCP 6MT

One thing I'll add re: the Kassel MAP kit is that Kassel recommends putting the MAP sensor on the 2nd vacuum tube on the air/idle rail. As I only got this bit of information today, Rob and I used the...

Re: E46 M3 Mods Part Out!

I could be wrong on this but I think your front wheel offsets are +28 or +22. The 18x9.5 et 35 has a flat face, not the more desirable GTR/concave face like your wheels (at least that was the case...

Re: Comprehensive CSL Intake Thread

I ran the IAT wires directly to the DME and don't feel like undoing that, so probably won't go this route. Seeming like zip-tieing it off is my only option, as I don't want to cut it.

Re: EYEHAVEYOU - '06 Interlagos Blue / Imola Red ZCP 6MT

No, I removed the flap, no wiring going to it. Only wiring involved was for MAP and IAT, which was relatively simple as everything I got from Kassel was pre-terminated/pinned - no soldering involved....

This.

I haven't tried the simple green approach, always done a tiny bit of lemon juice in warm water, use a terry cloth and toothbrush to clean the wheel.

I ended up doing this as well, hilariously easy to come off - just pulls straight up (also necessary for mounting the Kassel MAP sensor solution)

One more question though - for those who went IAT/MAP, what did you do with your MAF? Mine's just hanging free in the engine bay now, I wonder if I should zip tie it off somewhere? Any other ideas?
