Re: SuperSprint Euro exhaust system install grief
I'm in need of a sanity check. I just got my Euro SS Muffler and it came with zero hardware or mounts; apparently that's to be expected.
So....what are people using for muffler hangers? I may be...

Re: Official Dyno Thread
Hmm, I'd try to get the dyno operator to email you the runfiles from your baseline (I normally bring a flash drive for this). That way you can adjust the scale and send off to Frank.
Something is...

Re: Official Dyno Thread
Do you have the digital files from the dyno? The graph you posted has way too large a range for AFR to be of much use.
The data printout seems to hover around 14:1, so....yea that's not great. ...

Re: Looking for feedback on MCS suspension
I also upped the rebound to 9F 11R and the car rides significantly better. I have the compression pretty high right now as well (from track day), at 8F 8R. It actually rides pretty decently at these...

Re: Official Dyno Thread
Interesting. I also have a TTFS tune, have you asked Frank to dial it in for your current mods?
Mine isn't dialed in yet either, but it's much better than your plot. Almost makes me think you have...

Re: Sold the Jet Black, picked up an E90 M3
I provided the dyno plot to show the high rpm pull of the mods over what a stock car will do, but as was mentioned, it is leaving performance on the table. Tuning needs work, blah blah, not the...

A bit late to the party, but some data on what CSL + Airbox + Headers + cats will do, with a work-in-progress CSL-based tune:

Re: American Racing Headers for the E46 M3
I should also note that the Supersprint Euro E36 catted midpipe does not pass Colorado emissions on a mildly tuned S50, so I would not assume that the HJS cats would pass emissions in other states on...

Re: Ground Control Sway Question
E36 here. 650/800 + MCS DA, GC medium bars front/rear, no aero (yet).
I have the front bar set to ~1" from the ends, and the rear bar set one hole from full soft. Car is overall pretty neutral.

Re: American Racing Headers for the E46 M3
The internet said the OtherBrand(tm) is better, therefore I cannot accept anything less than the OtherBrand(tm) as ThisBrand(tm) will not let me drive FlatOut(tm).
Snarkiness aside, for what it's...

Re: Top speed?
I know it'll hit 120 before braking for T2 at Laguna and near 130 before T1 at Thunderhill.
Have zero desire to find out what it does on public roads, straights are the boring parts before turns...

Re: American Racing Headers for the E46 M3
And, before the flamewar starts...neither do Supersprint, CPI, AA, or any other maker of aftermarket catted sections. Since I have them to look at-- Supersprint's catalysts are HJS units that are...

Re: Wheel Stud Life Span?
I haven't had issues on my own car, but they're probably due for replacement. 88 ft/lbs before the event and ~4 years on the BW bulletnose studs now.
Our lemons car did break a set of studs....
