No need to drop the subframe. I installed mine with and engine lift. It will give you plenty of clearance to swap them.

I run Rogue Engineering tranny mounts on my e46 M3 and e39 M5 with no issues and Iím pretty sensitive to NVH.

^^ This. I highly recommend getting SS stepped headers. Best on the market, but cost a premium. If you are on a budget go Euro. Donít bother with any other variant. Solid advice above.

Iíve been reading up a bunch and looking at old threads. Bottom line, if you can live with NVH and your car is not a DD go with Vibratech. Otherwise just go with OE BMW mounts.

Honestly I havenít heard of one. Itís either poly and reuse your old cover or OEM with a new cover.

Yeah I'm leaning toward OEM euro bumper now. VRS pieces are quoted at 5-6 month lead time from Japan. Thats just crazy. The good thing about lips is that you can always add them on later.

I highly recommend you have a professional do your floor coating. Several people in my neighborhood did a DIY coating and none turned out that good. Most professional coating have a lifetime...

Bottom line, yes. I only tracked my car twice in 10 years and still had cracks at 130k miles of DDíing.

Even if you are low miles and donít currently have cracks you should come snider doing it...

Am I correct in saying that you need the e31 front calipers to eliminate the brake bias when installing on the e46? Can you use these on ZCP rotors?

Depends, what section 2 are you currently running? Any time you add a resonator into the midpipes, you will be reducing rasp.
