I have a 330ci that works intermittently, passenger side, sometimes flicking the switch on/off "wakes it up", but isn't the fix.
I've tested a good ballast, but it wasn't the fix. I put a good bulb...

The gaskets should be fine if you aren't getting any moisture on the inside of your current lenses. The stock projector lenses look hazy which is why they usually get replaced with better lenses.

Most likely alternator. If you still have your original valeo unit, why not take it to an alternator specialist to rebuild it? It's what I did, and been working perfectly for a few years now.

If you know for sure it's not going to pass, don't take it in and have it smogged. When you do that, and then pay a lil cash to pass a day/week later, that's when the DMV knows something's up.

your shop will get it start every time because they aren't driving it around getting the engine warm/hot, but if they drive it around, park, and try to start it, it'll click once and not start/turn...

After 5k miles of an oil change, the oil level is exactly where I saw it 5k miles ago.
I have the upgraded cpv o-ring and I drive it...

Remove trans mounts and lower the trans to give you that extra room you'll need.
You'll need a series of extentions, a ratchet, a swivel, and the e torx socket if working from underneath.

2. Sit in car, without touching pedals.
