That included completely removing the sunroof cassette, removing the cloth panel on the sunroof, and then reinstalling it all. 5 hours at local shop rates is about right.

Covering the pillars, the sunroof panel, and the headliner panel was only ~$400, but the removal and reinstallation was a bear so the total cost was over $1k.

It's a really easy adjustment if you don't have wheel studs. A screwdriver through one of the bolt holes let's you reach the adjuster. Just pull up the ebrake handle two clicks, and move the shoes...

Yes they are, and I am unashamed. :) I had the badges from an old set of RXs and they fit. I figured since Apex ripped off the BBS wheel design there wasn't much shame in running the center caps.

I ran the Hawk pads for years on my E46 M3 with StopTechs and was happy with them. I'll let you know how they work on this set-up after I've had some time to live with them.

The DMacks are surprisingly heavy compared to the BFG's I ran when I raced my Evo. Do they translate to being that much tougher?

I'm running the same size and offset as you. With stock-type struts I didn't need to run any spacers while the wheel was static, but I did put in a 10mm spacer to make sure the tire doesn't rub on...

The color match was not _precisely_ the same as the original, so you really need to paint all of them if you want it all to match. It's close enough that it didn't stand out against the seats, though.

My preference is to repaint the whole car, although I'm having a hard time finding anyone willing to respray it for a reasonable price right now. Wrapping the roof would be a temporary measure.

As I suspected: you fit the headlight by removing the air filter mounting plate and relocating the filter a bit. I don't really use this car regularly, so I suspect I'll just stick with the US lights.

Thanks. E46 goes on the frame rack on Thursday, I have a new painted bumper, and some of the carbon parts have already arrived. She'll be back together soon enough.

Stripping the car for sandblasting

As mentioned in the previous post, the chassis is really, really rusty. :( So, we stripped the chassis down for sandblasting before we repair the sheet metal.
