X5 is rated for 6000 lbs, I would be nervous going into the hills. The motor can handle it in the X5 35d but not sure about transmission or frame.

If it helps any, I am on MCS singles spec by Bimmerworld with 600/700 for similar duties. I would go with the 800/900 as well unless you are going to add aero. then you would need to go stiffer.

The myth of idling a car for it to warm up is prior to fuel injection. As others have said you do more damage than good letting it idle. Instead drive it a low rpm until it warms up completely.

6 weeks is correct as the clear must have a chance to cure and harden completely before applying the clear bra.

I have the Hotchkis front sway only (set at medium stiffness) and stock rear. It has produced a very neutral feel to the car which I like. I am currently on MCS singles with Hyperco springs 600/700.

Daily is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x2 with 5.7 Hemi. It is my first Chrysler product and it does "o.k". I wouldn't own one without a warranty. It does pull my M3 nicely. I am waiting...

The ECS are super easy to access. In addition, the main arms are designed (made of aluminum) so they are both lighter and able to bend just like OEM in a crash so you don't destroy your subframe,...

So I went with the ECS latest version and they are built really well, and adjustment is so easy with no parts to be removed for access to them.

The only thing that an E92 M3 really needs for the track is a big brake kit and tires. You can leave the rest alone and enjoy the car as it is. Especially if you have another dedicated track car.
