Nope, thats the rubber part. Im referring to the fabric piece behind that. It should be the same color as the headliner, it is in my car and my gf's e46

Its not difficult, just time consuming. Black is nice, imola and cinnamon are very desirable. What color does it already have? If its not grey, you can probably trade it for another color.

OG because after i saw it in person, it really looked great. I like most all the colors though, even the weird individual colors look nice with the right wheels and such.

I bought mine in decent shape for 9250 and have already put 5k in to the rebuild. I still ave the vanos, valve cover, cooling system and other tidbits to do. And that is with me doing the labor....

Do yourself a favor: predrill the lip so you have no chane of cracking it, and when you do that, cover the piece you plan to drill with a piece of tape to help mitigate the chance of micro cracks...

Sorry, i shouldve used better terminology. Yes i agree the pocket is fixed, the bracket, into which the rtab goes, which goes into the pocket, was the part i meant. That couldve been moved back...

Is it possible that when they disassembled and then reassembled that they moved your rtab pockets? As i understand it, those require a measurement as well to the effect of keeping your alignment...
