Seat Leather Restoration

I've read around, and seen a lot of products used, but looking for some input on addressing the wear on my seats (primarily the driver seat, obviously). I used Lexol cleaner and conditioner and a horsehair brush when I first got them. I understand this isn't aniline.

So, this weekend I'm going to take some of the advice from here and try a magic eraser and some APC to see what effect that has.

But, I still have areas of relatively minor cracking, and one small hole in the thigh bolster. Wondering what people have used to good effect to fill or minimize the discoloration in the cracked areas and how to address the small hole.

Yeah, if you have holes and cracks, you need restoration, not Lexol.
Here is my experience with LeatherworldTech kit:

Didn't like the kit, but the results were good.

Thanks, the only contact is in NC and they don't mention service outside of NC. I emailed, waiting to see what they say.

Didn't think Lexol would fill cracks/holes...just trying to get a baseline on the leather condition. Will do a little more this weekend with a magic eraser and some all purpose.

Thanks for the tip on the Leatherworldtech...seen that mentioned along with Leatherique, Dynamix, etc. All seem to have their likers and haters. No overwhelming favorites out there it seems.

Gonna tackle this as a winter project when I can have the seats out of the car for an extended period.

That's quite the result.

I've been having pretty decent results with Colourlock products, at least as far as DIY goes.

Who are "these guys"? I didn't see a link or name in your original reply. (Maybe a Tapatalk oddity)
