Yes. I have an elevated driveway entrance which is a pain even on stock suspension.

Only way for me to lower the car is to get me one of these...

Update as of 1/20/2014:

Mileage: 33,500

Next item in order:

- 7500 mile oil change + new oil filter
- Install SS lines + Motul RBF 600 (Had no time to install it yet)

This car has been serving me well to date. It beats the drum of civility and insanity together unlike any other car I've owned. No mechanical issues to report in my 2.5 years of ownership.

This is my workhorse + track weapon and very few cars out there can provide the sense of duality that my E90 has provided me and my family to date. With a V8 that revs happily to 8400 RPM, its definitely one for the books.

Quite simply, the best sounding, high revving, ass haulin street + track machine I've had the pleasure of driving or owning.

2.5 years and counting with smiles that keep getting wider and wider. :hattip:

Checkmate's AW/FR E90 M3 Journal

1 Quarter 2014 Update:

Mileage: 35,737

Installed-
  • Eibach Prokit Springs w/E36 M3 Bumpstops.
  • ECS Exact Fit SS Lines w/Motul RBF600
  • Alignment

Not enough words can be said about perfect the suspension feels dialled in with the Eibachs + E36 M3 bumpstops. Body roll is pretty much gone with excellent transitions if/when I hit bumps on the road. The ride height is perfect.

I can attest to the 4x4 nature of the stock set up. Never again!

SS Lines should come in handy at the track so looking forward to out them to good use. The ECS lines are of excellent quality with fitment spot-on.

In addition, the whole business of a 15,000 mile oil interval was suspect to me. Thank God I performed the change myself to reveal the truth. For here on out, I will always change the oil every 7500 miles.

This is how dark the oil/filter was after just 7000 miles (no track, just plain old winter driving-

http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...ps68f453bc.jpg

I did the oil change (took me an hour given it was my first time and all). Used the best-10 Qts of Liqui Moly 10W-60 + Mann Filter. The car definitely feels punchier on spirited driving today as a result of the oil change.

For those of you who will light me up on here for not using Castrol-:peace:
