Goodbye all...for now

After a lot of going back and forth with myself on what to do, I sold the M3 yesterday.

I just couldn't see myself stripping the interior and turning it into a track car.

My home office is half filled with goodies for the next car that I never had the chance to install.

I'm selling my current house and buying a different one during the next 30 days, and my next house will DEFINITELY have a garage so that I don't have to be worried about hail damage again! Not sure why I bought a house without a garage in the first place, especially being a car guy.

I'll continue to creep around on this forum and Bimmerforums, looking for my next M3.

Thanks for all the help and great DIY threads that I've used so far.

Glad you sold it. My friend Jamie in Golden had had an eye on your car. The problem is he has 4 kids and has NO time to wrench on an old german car so he would have been calling me everyday. A house is a better investment anyway.

Unfortunately a non-enthusiast bought it and it sounded like it was going to get the royal "rice" treatment, but to each their own.

Side note-- is your recently sold Byzanz M3 in Colorado?

It'll be either an e36 M3, e39 M5, or a 996.

SM3: A member with not much time here (same as myself) but from what I read, I can imagine that you are welcome back anytime.

You'll be back. I said the same thing when I sold my first E36.

Nothing drives quite the same and I always compared other cars I drove to it.

Yes. It is in Littleton now. The guy is collecting rare M cars. You might see it someday driving around. I would have kept it but I don't have a 10,000 sqft barn.
