Does anyone know of any currently available performance mods for the new 2001 M3. I called Dinan for the new chip to remove the 155 mph speed limiter and they said its still in development. Does anyone know of an aftermarket cat-back system that allows the exhaust to breath more or even replace the catalytic converter with a straight thru system.

I think I saw an exhaust system at turnermotorsports.com ...i think..not definite.

I read in a magazine about the 540i that the speedo was optimistic by almost 10mph at high speeds..i think over 100mph.

I personally wouldnt do anything to the car until BMW has worked out all the kinks. Who knows what they might decide to replace or recall...it is a first year production car.
