www.germancarfans.com seemed pretty sure a few weeks ago. 330i turbo e92, looks more like a mini e60 than a new e90

yeah im pretty sure it will go through, sucks but they were turbo back in the early 70's if my history is correct. i liked N/A bmws competing against FI cars. it just seems like a cheating way to gain more power IMO.

Naturally aspirated is cool, but making power off FI is so much easier and in my opinion is much more funner.

I dislike turbos. All of buddies run turboed cars STI, GTI 1.8T, Mazdaspeed Protege and they've all had turbo related problems with their cars. Naturally Aspirated cars are much better IMO. I mean your not gonna be able to bolt on a few parts and get 100hp, but you drive knowing your engine is built reliable and isn't going to fail you (unless the rod bearings get ****ed lol)

Is "funner" a word?!?! Just giving you a hard time bro. I'm not too sure I like the fact of a FI 3 series. Something about keeping a car completely NA that appeals to me. I love having cars NA keeping up with cars that are FI.

In general I would believe NA cars are more reliable, but how much more reliable from a high compression engine I do not know. The current M3 has a lot of problems already, (rod bearing recall, and now Vanos failure, so I've heard) So it really does come down to preference. But I think it would be really interesting to see BMW do a turbo 6 335i and a V-8 for the M3. Best of both worlds for the NA crowd and the mod/FI crowd.

yeah it would be cool to see BMW have a turbo car. Not only that it would probobly create a bigger aftermarket too.

Hey i was under the impression BMW always had Turbo engines.. like diesel ones in europe that were just not available to the US..

BTW

More Fun or Funner...I consider it a word.. i have been using it since 1st grade, and the only one who would ever demerit me points for it was my english teacher.. and who ever said that wearing a piece of string around ur neck aka "A Tie" was proper..

heh
