Is it possible to get the SMG on the regular 3-Series or only the M3? Looking at the "Technical Data" for the 330i it has info for the SMG (i.e. acceleration, and gear ratios) but when you do the "Build Your Own 330i" thing, it doesnt give you that option. Only the steptronic.

btw, i love the new style that bmw is using for its cars now. i can't wait to see the new M3. They just seem to keep looking better and better lol. Thx for the info in advance. btw, just in case it makes a difference as to what is available, i live in the US. :)

I dont believe that they have released the SMG for the E90 yet. Most likely tword the end of the year.

Keep in the mind that the SMG for the regular 3-series is a little different than on the M3

True, it is not a real SMG but an SSG.

SSG has less modes than SMG drivelogic. I think it only has 1 auto mode and maybe a couple of manual modes compared to SMG's 5 auto modes & 6 manual modes.
