Easy, easy. When the time is right...it'll happen. By the way, what do you think of the HRE 542's on a P car? Too flashy? One more random question; what do you think of a Volk LE37 on an Audi? Mixing genres, perhaps?

hmmmm. Not a fan of the volks on Audi. They just dont fit to me. Love volks, but not on audi.

Those HREs were designed specificly for P cars... they are way hawt. I would do brushed centers instead of the full polish though.

It took me a while to get used to it but I like it now. But I miss everyone that we lost in the transition. Where the heck is Johnny and Gandalf. This really depresses me.

My guess is that Geoff is doing the Stones concert tour.
Johnny is busy making WVC a safe place to live. Both will come up for air eventually.

I've looked everywhere for a picture of those volks on an A4, to no avail. I think they look totally awesome. Not bling-blingy at all, but very cool....hmmm.

I went to SEMA last year and there was a GT700 Porsche 911 with those HRE's on it. I swear the lip was 6+ inches in the rear. My jaw just about hit the floor. That could be my all time favorite wheel.

Is everyone aware that m3forum gives the comm. organizers money for our meets. Thats a good reason alone. They also accually came into our thread and told us how happy they are to have us here. I like places that I feel welcome. I like it here.

So the more we meet the more money the dA raises.

But I am guessing that if we do that then we have to abide by the "meet rules".

Yes. I don't think that ANY of our BBQ's would qualify...but our driving events certainly would. :D

Too late. My wheels get here on Friday--when I'm gone to Tennessee!!

Any recommendations for window tint? My normal guy is up in Bountiful and he's booked. I normally get them tinted, ummm, a little darker than normal....

Won't they usually tint them to whatever you want, as long as you recognize that it isn't legal?

I think tint shops that apply illegal tint can be slapped with a fine. :spank:

Apparently not. I called Super Tints this afternoon and asked if they'd do them darker than legal. They told me absolutely not because it's against the law, and they could get in trouble with the po-lice. I said "can you just not tell me over the phone if you can do it or not?" and he said "we used to, but we don't anymore. We got busted a month or so ago and the owner doesn't want that to happen ever again."

I'm going to Nashville. Apparently this girl's family has connections and we have backstage passes to some country show or something (the grand old opera??). I'd never heard of it, but backstage passes to anything are usually cool.

Oh, and, I went with the wheels you don't like on an A4. Sorry, I find them irresistibly sexy (not to mention very unique). 19 x 8.5's, 235/35/zr19 Toyo T1r's. They should be here on Friday.

It's pretty much a hard requirement for convertibles if you want to drive at a track event. Besides Makr says it is at least 10 HP worth. :nixweiss:

I do find it very entertaining that Kevlar voted in our poll. He is ok in my book as well.

Brad, I went on my mission to Nashville. Love the area. Great place to visit. Hate country music though. So you went with the volks? They are ok I guess.

You're mormon? Holy hell!!

And yes, I went with the Volks. I looked at going the typical mesh style big lipped route, or the BBS CH route, but in the end I wanted something unique. In all honesty, I don't see myself in this car for more than 6 months-1 year, and if I get a P car soon, even less.

Again, this is my winter car I'm in right now. I go through cars like Banana Republic goes through shirt styles....almost every quarter I get a new one. I want a Porsche 911 Turbo, and even more so now that I've been able to spend time in my Dad's new car. It's all a question of timing.

Edit: sorry, I didn't mean to be offensive. I'm extremely Mormon, but I swear like an f-ing sailor.
