CUSTOM PERFORMANCE PROJECTS

We have had several projects here at CPI and they are scattered all over this Forum as well as some others. So, we have consolidated them all here:

Euro200R - Section 1 with Magnaflow 200 cell cats and Vibrant performance resonators. All 2.36" stainless steel mandrel bent pipes. Our best seller!
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=350154&highlight=Euro200R

Stock Section 1 with Hi-flow Catalitic Conveters - for this project, we added a set of hi-flow Magnaflow catalytic converters to a stock section 1 and created the CPI Euro Style Section 1.
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=305071

Borla V2 Midpipe with Hi-Flow Catalytic Converters - same concept as the CRT but using the Borla V2 Midpipe.
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=265759

Rasp Terminator with Hi-Flow Catalytic Converters - taking advantage of full length after market headers, we install a set of hi-flow Magnaflow catalytic converters on the front of an RT and created the CRT (aka catted RT). M3 owners with headers can be emissions compliant and have NO RASP.

M3Forum Thread: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=240056

Rotora Caliper Upgrade Kit - great alternative to a full BBK. A full kit with 4-piston painted calipers front and rear includes ceramic brake pads and stainless steek brake lines. The Rotora calipers are designed to fit over stock size rotors.
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=116741

Rasp-B-Gone - Eliminates the rasp on the E46 M3.
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=66337

Rasp Terminaor - this is what we developed based on the Rasp-B-Gone concept.
http://www.custom-performance.net/productcart/pc/viewcontent.asp?idpage=5

Custom Performance Magnaflow Muffler - This one did not turn out as planned. But there were some lessons learned.
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=76593&highlight=custom+performance+magnaflow

B&M Short Shifter - Install and review
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=82610

Hi... any idea if I can install the Magnaflow system on my Euro M3 without SES lights coming on? I'm asking this because I believe the US version has the cats on the headers??

Also, can you ship to Saudi Arabia... if yes, how much would it cost me, and what method will you be using?

Not sure if the Magnaflow will work on the Euro M3 since it will replace the cats. I'll check shipping to Saudi Arabia just in case you are still interested. Have you considered Borla? It's just a muffler assembly.

I won't take a risk - Unless it has been tested before... :)

So do you have the borla in stock (Quad tips)? I've been looking around for a while now. If you do have it, let me know how much that will cost me to get it to Saudi.

thanks for the quick reply :)

Borla has two tip styles - the quad tip and the oval tip. You can see pics on our web site:

http://www.custom-performance.net/productcart/pc/mainIndex.asp

PM me wth your exact address and I can quote you a price for shipping it Saudi. Then, you can calculate any taxes or tarriffs that you would be responsible for.

Thanks,
Jack

Jack at Custom Performance is a true car enthusiast professional. If you're in the market for VMR wheels and require tires as well, please allow Jack the opportunity to prove to you why I recommend him and his organization.

Their prices were extremely competitive (lowest), customer service was excellent and thorough, responses to correspondence (email/phone) were returned promptly, and he delivered according to his word. I went further and requested a Custom Performance Decal for my roll-a-way toolbox, and he delivered by sending separately (from my order) his last one.

I've NEVER (nor would have even considered) purchased/ordered wheels/tires online or over the phone. I've always purchased in person. The transaction could not have gone any smoother.

In fact having the package delivered to my home, personally mounting them myself was extremely satisfying. Saved trips/time to the shop waiting for installation and worrying about returning old parts back home.

So please take my recommendation into consideration if you're ready to purchase new mods for your M - Jack and Custom Performance are rock solid.

Absolutely the best vendor on this forum. Best communication, prices, products and down right straight forward when establishing a timeline for your product to arrive.

If CPI carried everything I needed, there would be no other place I rather do business with then Jack. :thumbsup2:

As a matter of fact, I do. I have a new design coming out soon but I don't want to release any information just yet. Once I have the production model ready, I post it with pics and information. I expect to have it ready in about 4 weeks.

I also have a slightly used version 3 (at a discounted price) that will be available in a couple of weeks. I can send you some pics of it when available.

Very curious to see how you redesign the Section 1 yet again! :thumbsup2:

I think it's time to make a dual 2.5" ID Section 1 with a true XPipe at the location of the OE Resonator....PLEASE!!!!!! :)

Howdy folks,

Just wanted to give a BIG shout out to Jack @ CPI for his awesome customer service and 100% backing up his products. Here's a quick back story to what happened and how he quickly came to resolution.

I have been the original owner of his Catted Rasp Terminator (CRT400) for a few years now (~40k miles) and recently decided to go back to OEM headers/Sec 1. Upon removal, we noticed that one of the cats was COMPLETELY gutted...the core had simply disintegrated! The other cat was still intact. I immediately called Jack and explained to him what I discovered along with emailing him pictures. This was something he's never seen either but because the cats were still under warranty, he asked me to ship the CRT back to him so that he can weld on a new one. He even sent me a shipping label to cover cost! How awesome is this customer service?? I have an O2 bung that was stripped and he didn't even hesitate in offering to fix that also. This has been a great experience and wanted to share with everyone. I never hesitated in buying from Custom Performance before but this transaction has made me a customer for life. Thanks Jack for all your help. :hattip:

No - we don't provide any services, just parts and technical advice.

Our custom section 1 pipes are built as orders come in so it is rear that I have one in the shop. The base pipe for the CRT200 is the RTX (rasp terminator w/cross over pipe) which increased HP by 4 and TQ by 3. So, the CRT200 is now the CRT200X.

The above power you will genuinely gain, it is not a selling point, but it does help!

Exactly! With the RTX, the main goal is to eliminate all the rasp and with the cross over pipe, you pick up a few extra ponies.

Not really - just a bump in HP & TQ (plus eliminating the rasp).
