E30-M3

I have a '89 M3 and want to bring it back to original specs, and one thing I am looking for is the front and rear original ride heights (usually measured at the highest point of the fender wheel well).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

H&R lowering springs are installed on mine, about 1" drop, using 215/40-R17 tires so the overall wheel diamenter is about the same as original one (23.9"). Now I can still fit 2 fingers between the gap of the wheel and the fender (the 12-o'clock position of the wheel) in the front while 1 finger in the rear. So I guess the gap would be about 3 to 4 fingers for stock setting, not sure though (but from pic you can find from internet, the stock gap is kinda large). Well... absolutely not a scientific way to tell you the spec... :p
Anyway, I'm gonna switch back to 15" wheel (most likely the BBS dense cross spoke 7 x 15 ET20 from E34)later too coz there're just too many potholes in Southern CA. This morning I "crashed" both of the front and rear rims on the driver side and a little bit metal was chipped away at the edge while I didn't know where the xxxx it came a HUGE pothole on the road and was filled with rain water.

I think that if you want to bring it back to original specs you have to search for an original springs (used or original). Is the only way to modify the original heights. But I think the original height is too high.
