I think it's the M. It has the flared wheel arches. They are probably just using tires more suitable for ice.

They're just doing environmental testing only. They are testing things that don't necessarily have anything to do with handling on the ice - the mechanical and electrical subassemblies/subsystems and components. They'll test it here, in a frigid climate (Arjeplog), then they'll test it in the desert southwest for the opposite extremes.

It should look better with bigger alloys, I notice only two seperate exhausts and not four? I thought ALL M's had four :nixweiss:

It's way too early to draw any sort of conclusions.

I think its the M engine but they put some body on it so that way it wouldnt draw attention but if its a M either way it will :peace:

No 4 pipes, no side gills. I doubt its the M3. Just the Coupe model.

Big rear overhang (looks like a bus), hopefully thats all covers and tap.

It seems to remind me of the Mustang and the GTO cause it has the huge rear overhang. I don't know if I like it, but it is all covered up still..

Boys, look at the disc's there pretty big. Defiantly big enough for an M. I hope this isn't it. But then again i'm just planning on sticking with the E46.

exactly. the ass end looked big on the regular E90. The real thing looked better. I am sure the M will look better.

If it looks anything near that, I'll just keep my e46 m3. I really don't think the the new 3 series looks good at all so how are they going to make the m look good? With the e46 it was the opposite, the 330 looked good and the m3 looked good.

Ahh not even a chance that thing is going to be the M, running gear yes but the body is more closer to the "Batmobile" than the M we will all want in our driveways in 16 Months time.....
