My maintanance plan just expired and my 2002 M3 Conv needs an oilchange. Does anybody recommend a place in south FL that can do it without charging $150 like the dealer?

Fastdog911 Fri, Feb-25-2005, 02:21:35 AM buy topsider oil extractor, buy oil from BMW, filters and do it yourself.. first time out you will pay for the topsider ( $50.00) .. oil is around $9.00 per qt ( 6) ... filter is around $20.00 . I"m sure there are other reputable mechanics down in Miami who can change the oil for $75 as well. It's actually really easy to change the oil but the raw materials cost more than what you paid for the entire oil change. I think BMW charges $12/quart for the oil alone so i guess its not worth it gettin oily. Im moving up to boca next week so i think next time i'll bring it to your guy.
