I spoke with Dave Z on the phone today and ordered some of the new Hawker Ceramic Pads and some SS lines for my M. Let me just say that Dave is a super nice and very knowledgeable guy and I highly suggest him and his shop for any of your braking needs!

Congrats Nick  When I still had stock brakes on, I had SS lines put on and it made a noticable and well worth difference.

im looking for a good deal on rear euro rotors too...

Haha..yeah I bedded my new front brakes the other night at 1am in a semi industrial area.....still was a bit worried if a cop would drive by and see me doing 60mph to 10mph runs repeatedly ..that would be a hard one to try to talk myself out of.. :chair:

What is the cost of the ss lines? How long is the install?

The brake lines were $130 for front and rear.

the install is like 2 hours per axle...as they need to take off the old pad, install the new lines and then bleed the lines

How quickly after getting your new rotors and pads do you need to bed them in? I am obviously going to have to pick my car up from the shop and then drive it somewhere to do this procedure?

Maybe Dave Z can chime in here!

That's what I figured...I have printed out the bedding-in instructions already, just waiting for my new parts
