hi guys could anyone tell me how to disconnect my car battery on my e46 m3, i need to reset it to see if my engine light will go out where is the negative connection or is there a fuse i can take out for a few minutes and which number is it in the fuse box many thanks..

in the trunk (boot), rear corner, on the right side (drivers in your case)

remove the black plastic cover

you'll see the battery

be careful not to touch any metal when removing the terminals
