What brand Race metal cats are there and at what prices ??

1. Supersprint
2. Larini
3. BHS

Prices range from $1700-$2100 est.

Some go with the BMW EURO headers also

You really have a few options depending on what sound/performance and price level you are looking for.

Now if you really want to go nuts and run some serious motor or a FI setup, most of the cats that are shown are 200CPSI where as teh euros are i believe a 400 making them a bit more restrictive and hence a bit quieter vs the more freer flowing version.

wait...scratch that, most are 100CPSI not 200.

I am very happy with my HJS sport cat which is 100 cpsi.

Supersprint are better as 100cpsi where the Larini are 200cpsi.

a much cheaper solution is going with powercats (do a search on bf.c) -- I bought those and I am welding it in. $270 vs. $1700 or $2100 :thumbsup: They are 300 cpi.

random technologies also make high flow universal cats...alot of companies do. Alot of BMW/m3 owners wont want to do what your doing though soup...they arent down with the cut and paste style stuff. I had to do the same setup although i had to do HJS Race cats

That's true -- but, if you find a good mig welder, what's the difference IMO? I am taking my SS pipe and cutting it to fit the 300 cell cats. Guess these guys have never been into american muscle cars. :D
