Thanks flybigjet Sat, Jan-22-2005, 04:53:00 PM You can buy your own here: http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=6159&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C503%2C504%2C514&KickerID=140&KICKER Or, you can rent one from Tire Rack for about $30. Here's an example: http://www.bmw-m.net/Gallery/haweka.htm And another: http://www.focaljet.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=76765&Main=76760 The key to success is to heat the paint enough that it bends instead of cracking. Hope it helps. However, on the M3, the lip is already mostly rolled, so the benefits are minimal as compared to most cars. Essentially, it's something you can do if you're encountering slight rubbing between the tire and the body panel. R. BigGrin Sat, Jan-22-2005, 05:27:16 PM theres a diagram on the eastwoodco link showing it njabe567 Sat, Jan-22-2005, 05:30:55 PM by rolling the interior body panel lip, you can gain additional clearance for larger wheels/tires. I know a few shops in LA who can roll fenders for ya, but SD :nixweiss: |
