It was my first time using my new Pirellis Snowsports in falling snow. I have 18" OEM size tires. They gripped great in the snow. The DSC only came a few times but the car was solid in the snow. this was a great buy. I also turned of DSC in a parking lot and had some fun.

Oh hellz yea you did!! Isn't it the best ;)
I was really surprised as to how well the cars handled in the snow... I'd driven other RWD cars in less snow before ('94 Thunderbird and '96 850Ci) and those were death beds....

I purchased the Pirellis from Tirerack and with the light snow last evening and 2-3 inches on the ground this morn, they worked EXCELLENT!! Very pleased.

Same experience here in NJ!

Have P240s and they were great. I do not miss my 325xi

Climbed a 12 degree incline covered in 2 inches of ice and snow.

And I played in a parking lot (after the BMW club meeting!) with the DCS off too.... what a blast!

damn you all...I need to get some snow tires...because as of now my car nearly killed me twice. Luckily, we both came out unscathed the two times.

I have pilot sports a/s.

Intresting reaction on the snow. Most was packed down by the time I got on the road, so I was still sliding around all over the place.

Oh, no doubt. I was sliding around because I tend to give it more gas on snow than normal.

Last year I was running on bald summer tires and was about to run around okay.
