If you read his mod list, he has HM2's, and you can read that he doesn't know whos car it is.

But sick hood.

lol sorry man...i was just being sarcastic...that's my car...and my sig is in need of updating. I actually just recently sold or the sale is pending for my hm2's. I've had these rims since sema in which I debuted these rims for Kinesis.

The rims are Kinesis F110s. Let me know if you want more information on these rims, like where you could get them or like how EXTREMELY light they are.

That is the the hood I told you about when you got the oil. I have some contacts about getting one. The cheapest I found is $2k for CF.

guys this hood first off is dual sided carbon fiber...meaning when you open up the hood you will not see and ugly undersided shell...esp nice for those of you that want a hood that you can show off on top as well as on bottom.

Secondly, the slats are part of the hood, they are not seperate pieces that are glued on. Also the flossman hood goes for 2k and it is single sided cf...This hood runs 1700 and is dual sided cf!!!

DaBean: The lip on the ground is the strassentech lip...the sponsored CD cars had some items on display during socal euro this past weekend...the lip was placed in front of the acs style lip for comparison of the looks.

Thanks for all the compliments guys...pm me if you all have any questions on where to get the hood, i'll point ya'll in the right direction =)

Me too, that's why I want to see pics of the inside of the hood. Also how much does it weigh? I've been looking at a few others, they weighed in at 3kg. Is this full Carbon Fiber or Overlay?

I really like this one!

Very nice. I would like to paint it Imola and leave the slats CF.

I like it, but I need one that has the ability to cover the vents, whether from the inside or outside, since my car lives outside.

I wanna do the same thing with my Silver Gray.

Very nice. I would like to paint it Imola and leave the slats CF.

dual sided, it must be full CF .

it looks insane, what i dnt understand though , is how does water not get in , when its raining ? i still dnt understand on any car with vent sccops how does water not get in ?

I dunno either. I want this hood because it's fully functional. It will keep the motor cooler (just a little), it looks sick as hell and best of all if it is indeed full Carbon Fiber, I can't imagine that it weighs more than 3-4kg's.........

Heheheh that car is gonna looks sick George !!!!

would you paint the hood body colour or leave it CF weave ?

I'm gonna paint it, but I'm gonna leave the CF slats unpainted, then I'm gonna get the Black CF Side Gills, Front Grill, Hood Bonnet. I think I've decided that I want my car to look mean too since it already sounds so evil...

Water does get in, that's why you need to get the one that has the vent covers. I have seen it somewhere on this board.

Does any one make a full CF hood that is not vented?

Nixlimited

The only problem with the dual CF hood is that it doesn't seem to retain the fire blanket that is on the OEM hood.
