I am buying a set of Tein S-Tech springs and was curious if anyone else here might be running the same setup as me. I have 19x8.5 and 19x10 SSR GT3's with 245/35/19 and 285/30/19 S-03's.

I am trying to determine if I am going to have a problem in the rear with scrubbing due to the offset of my wheels and the aggressive width of the 285? I do not carry passengers in the back. Anyone have the same setup or can tell me definitively if I'm gonna be rubbing with these bad boys? Thanks...

I have the same wheels and runnin the same springs w/KONIs. No rubbing issues whatsoever. But w/285s..I'm not sure. You may want to just run H&Rs since Tein will lower the rear alot more.

Thanks.... that is what I needed to hear. I am going to go with the Tein's. I prefer the lowered appearance over the H&r springs.

Which Koni's are you running? Also, can you post a pic or two of your car? You can email me at agentz06@bellsouth.net if you prefer. Again.... thanks for your help.

Chris,
I have Koni yellows. Bought them for around $600 per set.

Thanks a million! Your car looks fantastic man.... that is exactly the drop I'm looking for too. Koni's and Tein S-Tech = just what the Dr. ordered. Thanks again for answering my question... much appreciated.

My wheels aren't really the satin finish that SSR offers..I actually had them repainted from silver polish to VOLK RACING GUN METAL but a shade darker.

hey did you have those springs with the shock installed at the same time? If not, i was just wondering if you had felt any difference in ride quality if and when you installed the shocks
