I have an 04 M3 coupe with NAV but NO assist. I am ready to order ICELink Plus (for IPOD) and Sirius.

I haven't ordered ICELink Plus since it is on backorder.

are these the parts I need for Sirius connection without ASSIST?

3 Series (E46) Sedan & Coupe with Navigation (09/03-On)

Sirius Receiver 84 11 0 153 365
Trunk Antenna Kit 84 11 0 390 239
Installation Kit 84 11 0 141 976

For vehicles with option 6-Disc CD changer

CD Changer Extension Cable 84 11 0 150 526 (since I will be installing ICELink)

No, it is a trunk antenna for satellite, the sharkfin which is a roof antenna is for the Assist cellular phone, which stated in the first post this car does not have.

I'd be very interested to see where you mount it in or on the trunk

i have mine mounted on the rear deck behind the rear passenger head rest. you can tuck the wire along the side and run in into the trunk very cleanly. the reception is fine, just skips for a second if you go under a large overpass, etc. but i think that would occur even if my antenna was outside.

That's what I wanted to hear do you have any pics? I really want SAT radio but i always thought I needed the shark fin antenna to do it.
