What would people recommend as speaker (including sub) and amp upgrades to the HK system for an E46 M3 convertible? Yeah, yeah, I've read all the threads and realize that upgrading the head unit is key, but barring that, what speakers would you suggest that are better quality and (hopefully) swap right in? What about the sub? And what and where can you do to then get more (and better) amplification? Thanks in advance.

It's quite easy to interface with your OEM headunit, actually!

We do it 5-10 times a week, and never have any problems.

Our most common upgrade is to change out the interior speakers using MB Quart components, and then add a custom enclosure designed specifically for the E46 convertible in the trunk. It fits neatly underneath the convertible top area, and sounds incredible! We then add a new amplifier to power the new speakers and subwoofer, and the results are incredible!
