Well my day was to say the least extremely $hitty yesterday. Except for a few tidbits.
Well the day started off early with me finishing off my last final term paper and turning it in. After, that I started my winter break by driving the 1.5 hours to the mountain to get some skiing in.

Well on the way I was cruising along (saw a ti/silver coupe M3 beautiful!!!) and reached highway 26 safety corridor....which is an excuse for cops to bust you. Well in some parts of the road I was cruising at 80mph (Oregon is 55mph) passing people and finally broke free of the pack of cars which was my first mistake cus once I hit that safety corridor(fines double) the speed limit dropped to 45mph to top it all off I hit a construction zone (fines double there also) so I slowed down to about 60mph coming out of the construction zone a highway patrol car was going the opposite direction my passport 8500 goes crazy on KA band i think definately not laser, he pulls a b!tch, but before he turned I shifted into 3 tapped the brakes took it to second at 48mph he follows me(Mind you this is all in a volvo) for me a bit and then hits the lights.
Well I got tickted for going 62 in a 45 a $159 fine. I wasn't going to argue with him and tell him if he got me when he was going the other direction then the result would be wrong because he was moving towards me!!! I even explained to the officer that if it was possible to just get a warning because I am going through the application process for an anyalsyt for the CIA (which is truthful) once I finish my masters and I wanted a clean record. He didn't give a rats a$$!!! So now I am trying to find a lawyer that will take care of it for less than the 159 to make it worth while.
Well I reached the lifts the snow was lacking only one run was open and I was surrounded by snowborders I was one of 3 skiers on the mountain and the other two were ski patrol!!!!!

So I get home and my day got somewhat better I received a package from Porsche, they sent me the cayenne information(options packages trim levels) and videotape. Pretty powerful cars but I think the design has to grow on me still!!!(i am still adjusting to the 7series which i like now!!!)
Well after my drive earlier the volvo(RWD 960, I6 220hp) was a little squirelly and I was thinking maybe I want AWD so I think I might have to decide now between the M3, X5 4.6i, or the Cayenne depending on the price diffirence between the S(needs alot of options to be at the 4.6 trim level) or the Turbo(turbo comes pretty well equipped) anyways that was my rant:thumbsup:

sorry to hear of your ticket but at least he didn't clip at 80 mph. the look of cayenne needs to grow on me much longer. maybe you should keep the m3 and get the VW version of cayenne.;)
