View Full Version : Bitburg 2/3 October
zam Thu, Sep-30-2004, 02:06:48 AM Okay, who's going? There is autocross and drag. All you need is a helmet and $50 euros to run all day Sat & Sun.
Can we get some more M3s to run? I'm not sure if my car is fast or not, since I'm usually the only BMW there.
Oh yeah, I'm almost 90% certain that I can take all of you lowly 6speed owners with my SMG.
///Maniak Thu, Sep-30-2004, 09:59:59 AM If the weather holds up I'll be there on Saturday. I'm 100% certain you'll destroy my 5spd. E36!

Cruzer Thu, Sep-30-2004, 02:55:18 PM I will go if I am over the break in by then, BTW, how far is it from Frankfurt?
zam Thu, Sep-30-2004, 04:29:17 PM Bitburg is about an hour from ktown(45 if you do 120+ all the way). It is in the direction of the Nurburgring. Not sure what the distance is from Frankfurt...
Cruzer Thu, Sep-30-2004, 07:39:16 PM What time are you guys meeting and where?

I think the drag crap starts at 1000. I think the autocross starts as soon as anyone lines up and wishes to go.
i've got the directions in my Navi, but you basically go up towards the Nurburgring. The track is right behind Bitburg Post.
If you want to caravan let me know.

You can probably take me on the autocross course. Remember, the e36 M3 was rated the best handling car in the world. :peace:
Cruzer Fri, Oct-01-2004, 11:48:39 AM Zam, at what time are you leaving?
///Maniak Fri, Oct-01-2004, 03:51:16 PM I don't know what time you guys are gonna get there, but I'm leaving Darmstadt at like 7:30, so I guess I should be there by 9:30 or so. (I'll be the one in the E36) :violin:
zam Mon, Oct-04-2004, 07:10:10 AM Well it was great fun. The qtr track thing sucked, but the road course and autoX was fun. I managed the fastest time on the road course against some pretty tough V8s. 1 Z06(new owner), 1 WS6 experienced owner that setup event, and another Z28 SS with an experienced owner that setup the event. I even spun out on the far end of the course!!!
Cruzer Mon, Oct-04-2004, 07:38:36 AM Glad to know that you did good representing the M3 crew!
