I’m a freelance magazine writer, and I’m thinking of doing a series of articles on high-performance driving technique. I’ve noticed that most car magazines--even those devoted to sports and performance cars--don’t really run many stories about that.

What do you think? Would anyone be interested in articles on how to improve their driving skills?

If so, what kinds of things would you like to learn more about?

Sounds great to me. I took up sport bike riding three years ago and had a difficult time finding instructional literature about track/curvy road riding. It still amazes me that automobile and motorcycle magazines put so much emphasis on the newest, coolest machine with a few more horsepower, but put little emphasis on how to get those machines around a track more smoothly/quickly/safely.

I agree, not to mention articles on how to get the best performance from your car and how to pieces on breaking in sports cars and th like.

I think that is a good idea.
