I have several chips in my hood and on the front of my car. A friend mentioned using colored wax. I am not familiar with such a product and was looking for ideals or brand suggestions from you guys.
I have a 99 cosmos vert. I have traditionally used Zymol.

A colored wax, such as the "turtle wax color cure" will do absolutely nothing for the paint chips on the front of your car - it is a polish to hide and/or remove MINOR swirl marks. Perhaps your friend was referring to a chip stick type of thing, which will look good for about a day if that. No amount of detailing products is going to fix a paint chip, sorry man.

colored waxes are gimmicks. the real value is in putting time in a good cleaner/ sealer / glaze and wax
