can i use meguiars gold classic as my car wash soap before application of zaino? the zaion will be the second time im applying. thanx

Use Dawn to strip it the first time, then claybar as directed. Zaino after that no more than three coats within 24 hours. Alternating btween Zaino waxes will not effect or harm the outcome. Use micro fiber (my preferred) or white cotton (Zaino prefers) applicators and buffing clothes. Finish with Z6.

yea... i did that for my first application, this is going to be my second, so i dont think i need the dawn soap, but i was wondering if i can wash w/ meguiars gold classic and then zaino the car for my second application?

Any will do as long as it's low alkaline and is specified for washing cars. It doesn't have to be fancy, just mild. I've used the Zaino car wash, Griot's, K-mart, Armor Guard, and . . . I think that's about it. Meguiar's is safe.

You should be fine. That car wash does contain any material that would cause a problem
