it has to be legit. and fully functional. im not looking for any f**ked up motors. i will carfax it first before i try and buy it with a mechanic. so please have the vin# ready with some more info

uhh.. the s52 is for the e36 M3. Not the e46.
e46 M3 has the s54.

1) An S54(from E46M/00-06) Double Vanos 3.2L
or
2) AN S52(from E36M/92-99) Single Vanos 3.0L
