Hey, i'm new to BMW and have a question for those of you driving E36 M3's that have an aftermarket Short ram or cai.
Other than the actual filter housing and the heat shielding around it, what else does it have?
I'm thinking of just building my own because they don't look like they encompass anything ridiculously difficult.
I can get a K&N filter to match the size on most of the cai's and the heat shield could be made and sprayed real quick. i'd just like to know if there is anything i should know about or if anyone has done this before?
